12 November 2018, Paris & Hong Kong: Horizon Software (Horizon), the world’s leading provider of electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology, has announced today the appointment of Keith Todd CBE as a member on its advisory board. The news comes during an exciting period of sustained growth for Horizon, which in June of this year underwent a MBO with the European Private Equity firm, Capzanine.

Todd’s track record of helping management plan and deliver on long-term strategy will be an invaluable asset in continuing the company’s impressive trajectory. Todd brings over 40 years of global technology business experience to institutions ranging from publicly listed and large multi-nationals to start-up businesses.

Prior to launching the software group KRM22, of which Todd is chairman and CEO, he was Executive Chairman at ION Agency Trading. He also served as executive chairman and CEO of FFastFill plc, a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider to the global derivatives community.

Sylvain Thieullent, CEO of Horizon, said “We are delighted to welcome Keith on board; Keith is very well known in the financial business industry and is often seen as the go-to person for knowledgeable and insightful advice. We are thrilled that he’s agreed to join Horizon as an Independent Advisory Board member and I feel confident that he will be a truly valuable asset to Horizon in our mission to drive the excellent service we provide to clients and in supporting our growth globally.”

He continued: “I believe we are currently in a great chapter of the company’s history. We have since made significant strategic progress in establishing an additional office in North America. Along with bringing Keith to the team in an advisory role, these are significant changes, putting us in an excellent position for continuing our remarkable growth while developing our technology, and maintaining our position as an industry leader.”

Todd, who was awarded the prestigious honour of CBE (Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in June 2006, said: “I really look forward to working with Horizon and using my experience to benefit the team in delivering the unrivalled offering its clients have come to expect.” He added: “I’m delighted to be working with Sylvain and the team and looking forward to helping the company develop and expand.”
