FX Week names Horizon Software as trading technology vendor award finalist
12 June 2019, Paris & Hong Kong: Horizon Software (Horizon), the world’s leading provider of electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology, has been shortlisted as ‘Best Trading Technology Vendor’ by the FX Week e-FX Awards 2019. The awards were designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in the fast-paced and quickly evolving electronic foreign exchange market among banks, brokers, vendors and the buy-side.
The company is continuing impressive awards success with this news, having in 2019 already been named ‘Best Sell-Side OMS’ by the TradingTech Awards and ‘Best Trading System’ by the FSTech Awards. Last year also brought wins including ‘Multi-Asset Trading System of the Year’ at the FOW and Global Investor Asia Capital Market Awards, ‘Best Sell-Side EMS’ at the Intelligent Trading Technology Awards and ‘Best Trading System’ in the Bobsguide Software Rankings.
Sylvain Thieullent, CEO of Horizon, commented: “We are very pleased to have been named in this year’s shortlist and hope for more good news next month! To have our efforts in the FX space rewarded by a publication as well-regarded as FX Week is something the whole team takes a lot of pride in, especially as it indicates broader, industry- and client-wide approval and praise.”
Thieullent continued: “Given our international presence and reach, it’s extremely important that we remain on top of varied, often geographically specific client requirements and concerns. We see this nomination not only as encouragement that we are succeeding, but primarily as motivation to continue.”
Horizon has been empowering capital market players for over two decades by building powerful algorithmic technology into its electronic trading platform and offering trading opportunities through direct connectivity to more than 80 exchanges worldwide. Horizon enables clients to quickly create, test and implement automated trading strategies in real-time, in line with its ‘Trade Your Way’ philosophy. Its platform can be easily integrated with rich APIs and allows proprietary strategies to be built while keeping traders’ code confidential.
The winners of the FX Week e-FX Awards will be announced at a ceremony in New York on 11 July 2019.
