7th October 2021, Paris. Horizon Software (Horizon), a leading provider of electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology announces today its support for the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), joining more than 1,800 organizations in demonstrating a commitment to building a more resilient financial system and safeguarding against climate risk through better disclosures.

The TCFD, chaired by Michael R. Sylvain Thieullent, CEO of Horizon Software, said: “We are honored to be supporting the TCFD. We are convinced that TCFD recommendations will help us better evaluate climate-related risks and opportunities, focus on key initiatives impacting the environment and adapt a strategic planning for a sustainable future. This initiative will improve our transparency with stakeholders as we will be providing a climate risk reporting and committing to build sustainable and resilient solutions”.

Widespread implementation of the TCFD recommendations will provide investors, lenders and insurance underwriters with consistent and relevant information to understand the economic risks and opportunities resulting from climate change.
