H DB Broker

Horizon Software created a component called H DB Broker, to manage connections between an application and a database. The H DB Broker component can be added between clients and the database with almost no modifications to the existing application. All access to the database is managed by the H DB Broker, and provides:

Lock management on records currently being amended by users
(concurrent access).

Real-time notification of amended data.

Real-time management of user rights.
